About Dana Parish

Best-selling Author | Sony Songwriter |
Champion For Those Suffering With Chronic Illness

Dana Parish is a powerful voice in both the literary and music worlds, known for her honesty and ability to connect with a broad audience. She co-authored the bestselling book Chronic: The Hidden Cause of the Autoimmune Pandemic and How to Get Healthy Again, released by Harper Collins. This followed her harrowing battle and subsequent recovery with Lyme disease, which resulted in heart failure and nearly stole her life.

Before her literary success, Parish was an in-demand artist and songwriter. Her debut single, “Not My Problem,” from her album Uncrushed, climbed to #23 on Billboard, establishing her as one of the highest-charting independent artists. Her next single, “Let It Go By,” broke into the Top 10 and led to appearances on major talk shows like The CBS Morning Show and Good Morning America. Her rising star earned her the title of Clear Channel’s Featured Artist for sixteen consecutive weeks.

This led to Parish’s deal with Sony Music Publishing and co-writing two tracks on Celine Dion’s #1 album, Loved Me Back to Life, titled “Thankful” and “Always Be Your Girl.” She has contributed to albums for a variety of notable artists, including Idina Menzel, Lea Michele, Carly Rae Jepsen, and New Politics and her songs have been featured in numerous films and TV shows.

Parish’s next chapter is about sharing the life-changing lessons she’s learned, from her terrifying near-death illness to miraculous recovery. Subscribe to her Substack for medical intel that could save someone you love.
